Paul Dacier was with his fiancee Kim in their Misty Morning Drive apartment on a quiet night in Derry when they heard a bang and some shuffling sounds coming from the unit next door.  They continued with their conversation, writing the noise off as a neighbor arriving home after a long day.  It wasn’t until 30 minutes later that they learned something was very wrong in the neighborhood.

Pamela Smart arrived at her condo at 4E Misty Morning Drive at about 10:10 pm. She was driving her 1987 Honda CRX with her license plate HALEN in full display.  She pulled up to her unit and walked over to the front door.
